our teached played todays (jan 26 2011) CNN student news... and well

the way i see it. hes already in a million pieces. they just got to find him lol

So off-topic, but Dan Brown's Digital Fortress' "digital fail" is so much that it basically makes the story moot if you consider it from a technical standpoint. (a 128 bit encryption key isn't twice as hard to crack as a 64 bit key, it's more like 18446744073709551616 times harder to crack).

What if it was a religiously motivated one were people who believed that they were to do it by their god(s)?
They can't find them or certainly punish them.

If I could actually see what the equation was, maybe I could guess.
But my current guess is that they're either just random symbols, or copied equations from some mathematical article.

Obviously, because the process of how IRC works is incredibly complicated for people who have their I.T team write GUI Interfaces with Visual Basic.
