Just attempted to downgrade my friend's PSP using Lumines (from 3.50). It got to the section where it said 'extracting psar files 0%' then said, 'PANIC:Psar dump error'

Bricked...  

The PSP actually belongs to my physical training instructor at my army barracks. I'm gonna get beasted so hard.

if i were you i would run out and get a psp to replace it as fast as humanly possible :P

Done. £100 for a pre-owned PSP from Gamestation. I got two '2 for £20' games as part of the deal (the fudgeers wouldn't let me have the console by itself for a lower price) so I went and got two Xbox 360 games I've wanted for a while.

I've successfully downgraded it now. He's expecting to pay something for my services but I'm gonna give him a big fudge-off bill to recover some of the costs of buying another damn PSP.
