Need help windows..not really PSP related maybe..
I know its not really PSP related but i need my working windows to get to my prog's to make eboot pack's for th PSP..

When i used win update and an addware program after reboot i got this message:

Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - An I/O operation initiated by the registry failed unrecoverably. The registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the registry.

SO i thought maybe someone knows how to solve this !?
Else i need to reinstall windows or atleast all program's i have ...

Any help .!!
Double post
I really need some help here!?

it seems that the adware program is preventing windows from accessing the file or files needed to load the profile.
i would remove the adware program and see if that helps but if not you could go into admin mode and create a new blank profile where you could then uninstall the program.

np. my dads machine occasionally does wierd things like that and i have to get to the boot menu and load last settings that worked to allow him to boot. not sure if your problem could have been helped this way, but it doesn't matter now anyway. if you have more probs post again. :)

There is a computer section...

Anyways, odd that this would happen on your computer.  This typically happens over network logins, when the computer can't access the roaming profile files.  Typically it either uses a cached profile (if available) or copies the .Default profile and uses that.
