Samsung Sliding PC 7 - Another Win7 tablet but with keyboard
After the Asus unveiled the Eee Slate, a Core i5-powered Windows tablet, and Fujitsu showed it's Atom-based Windows tablet, Samsung has now taken the time at CES to show off the Sliding PC 7 Series, which is like a netbook with touch. Here's the specs:

- $699, $300 less than the Eee Slate
- 10.1" Touchscreen
- 1366x768 resolution
- Atom Z670 "Oak Trail" processor with 2GB RAM
- 32/64 GB SSD
- USB 2.0, HDMI, WIFI etc

At first glance it seems to be missing the Wacom pressure-sensitive stylus for writing with, and lacks the power of the Eee Slate's Core i5, but has a much better pixel density, and is more compact. At that price, this is looking pretty hot. Not to mention it actually looks pretty hot. Click the pic for the article at Engadget.

wow that looks slick D:
tablet on the go and laptop in a lecture
hard drive space may be an issue for some, but i think 64GB is definitely more than enough for a device like that.
Blue keyboard is so sexy

That is one sweet, sweet looking piece of hardware. Sadly, it's specs are total donkey, so it becomes next to worthless for me. Shame.

I wouldn't say total donkey. It has the newest Atom processor, and though I wasn't able to get specs on that i suspect it must be dual core and one of the faster atom processors to date. Those are plenty for most office/browsing/video watching, but useless for gaming or photoshopping.

This. Need more info on that Atom processor but I'd pay the extra for an i5 ULV or something similar.
