My New Free Laptop
MadwinMadwinMadwin
Dumpster diving at BFG Technologies Corporate Headquarters by my buddy who's work office is right next door.  They have been out of the office for over 6 months and apparently yesterday was clear out day by the property management and they threw out all that was left.
What I got was an
867mhz PowerMac G4 *meh*
brand new 500watt power supply *meh*
2x Self contained cpu water cooler based around a 120mm fan and radiator *meh*
and....drum roll please...
:idea:Clevo m980nu portable desktop replacement computer!!!!  Ahaa
4 Problems with that....it's bare bones with no CPU, RAM, Video Card, or Harddrives :(
[Image: imagegkw.jpg]
But FUCK ME!  This thing BLOWS AWAY my previously enormous Clevo D900t *pentium4 cpu*
And HOPEFULLY I can take the video card from another clevo who's LCD is trashed and use that, take the cpu from a dell laptop that has a trashed lcd and take the ram from a perfectly fine Dell Studio XPS laptop and a left over harddrive and make this fudgeer work tomorrow!!  Its going to be SOOOO awesome!

I guess it has an integrated gpu for running hdmi/dvi so maybe I can use that if the video card is AGP in that other system *i know it's replaceable because it was upgraded to a 7900x2...so HOPEFULLY that is a PCIE card!!!

Hell yes, I want nothing to do with Moon right now...I just want to go work and starting ripping spoon apart!! YayYayYayYayYay
