Never Forget: 8/6/1945
[Image: 16050-620x-ResidentialStreetInHiroshimaA...ombing.jpg]

Skin hung from their faces and hands
Some were vomiting as they walked
On some naked bodies the burns had made patterns
Of the shapes of flowers transferred
From their kimonos to human skin.

It was a pocky move by the US, but it was a pocky move that ended a war. No move could be, or has been, more pocky.

Slightly off topic:

I recall watching a documentation about how Einstein fled to the US and told the military about the ideas of an atomic bomb, because he feared that the Germans of the time would figure it out.
The Germans were defeated before the bomb was built, so Einstein and co protested about the continuation of the construction of the bomb, but then, the US had already committed a lot of resources into it, so they went ahead...

They sort of deserved it though.  The amount of war crimes committed by the Japanese pretty much match what the Germans did.  Go read up wiki or something if this is completely new to you.

All in all...  In war, shit happens.  Pretty much.

So the whole town deserved it? Like the innocent women and children?
I wouldnt say that they deserved it. Yes it was war but war usually means men fighting men and only men dying. The only reason the bomb was used was to end the war. Did it have to be used? No, it just made it alot easier for the US to end the war. Shit happens but the shit happens with accidents. This was no accident.

You my friend should think before posting.

Raises the question, should war crimes be allowed during war?
