So I don't know about you guys, but I use GC as my main web browser. I like it and all, but there's one thing that keeps bugging the spoon out of me. It's the fact that when you maximize the window, it cuts off the top bar (the space right above the tabs), so that the top edge of the tabs are at the top of the screen. Is there an option so that when I maximize the screen it just stays like normal.

Thanks guys.

RE: I haz a question abouts Google's Chrome.
I think Funnybutrandom is our resident Google Chrome user so I suspect he might know.

I don't see how it would be bothering you - doesn't GC allow you to pull away windows from Maximized?
If you're using Windows 7 I should think Windows Snap would work, just click and holding the very top of the window and pulling it down will turn it back to windowed mode.

Otherwise, either see if you can get alternative themes.

Also another thought.. Windows XP didn't allow such a feature (tabs in the title area) - so try running Chrome in Windows XP Compatibility Mode - that might cause it to fall back and make it old style.

It's like that so you get more screen for the web page itself. I like it.

yeah the top bar is there, it just has tabs on it.

it is functional and you're the only person so far who hasn't liked it that i know of xD

you like a functionless bar over the top rather than have tabs integrated into it with the X, minimise and maximise too?

Its not a problem of Google Chrome. Its a google chrome feature. I also use google chrome as my web browser and I found it has the great feature then any other browser. And I also felt this browser a bit faster then other.

Nice of you to share your opinion but I just feel like bashing Google Chrome again - it doesn't have "great feature then any other browser" - Firefox fresh install beats out Chrome let alone add-ons... and Opera is the fastest browser in the world, not Chrome. Right now, Chrome holds no title other than being for nubcakes.

But Opera isn't open source...
Also doesn't seem to integrate with some Google stuff well unfortunately - whereas Chrome is basically guaranteed to work with anything Google.  For some really odd reason, our group leader decided to use Google Wave for our project discussion and it just doesn't work in Opera.  Not Opera's fault, but well...

Interesting. I use Google Apps and haven't too many problems with them (Mail works, Docs works but Spreadsheets can be dodgy).. and I guess Wave is a no-go. Only site I find annoying with Opera is Hotmail - it has an annoying problem that if you click a folder/before its finished loading, it loads the page then jumps back a page a couple of seconds later. Urgh..
