It's not about warnings and whatnot, it's also about efficiency...  You spend less time uploading (good thing), everyone else spends less time downloading (also good thing), and this isn't really something that needs to be so pixel exact that you have to use lossless....

EDIT: Art tags are bugged... replaces everything inside with the 1st instance of it's usage on the current page...
And technically I have 1.5Mbit internet, it's just that I'm like perma capped, but that's not the point here, thus the art tags [removed].
