I remember the moment I started feeling like natural selection was being unfairly deleted.

I was in food dynamics, in 11th grade, and wee were watching a safety video or something, and it showed a kitchen. Then a 7-9ish year old girl came into the room, sat immediately on the floor next to cabinets under the sink. Pulls out a bottle of Pine Sol and just starts chugging it. I burst out laughing, because of how matter of fact it occurred, this girl obviously needed to die now, before she hits puberty in a few years. Then they showed how you should have put it up higher, or to tape the lid on or something, and blah blah blah.

Basically, I realized they were trying to save stupid people from killing themselves or making fatal errors. One would likely argue that wee are intelligent enough to prove our elite status above all other creations, so wee shouldn't be subject to the same laws as them. Further arguments would bring up my thoughts on the ironic assumptions wee make that wee are so far above other animals, "sophisticated". But seriously, I'm not going into that.

Of course, the genes aren't going to be completely phenotypically identical to their parents, but they also will have grown up around this parent, and will pick up their habits. This applies to guys, as well as girls, by the way.

There are more side arguments I often bring up when discussing it, but some are far too hypothetical, or are purely meant for musing, so I won't list them here. I just wish natural selection had a larger role... I have grown a general contempt for idiots -.-


tl:dr - Not enough ways to kill stupid people. Humans, as a whole, are getting dumber (and lazier, but that is a side-argument).

your a smart guy, some nice points there. i read a book awhile back called "Frontiers" or something, by Issac Asimov he had a chapter on the relentless population rise, very interesting.

if anything wee need a zombie apocalypse lol that will filter out everything. then wee can start new etc
