RE: Update Tax Rebate win
lol at urban dictionary
Quote: kitchen porter 13 up, 3 down love it hate it
The best euphemism there is for "dishwasher". This person is an essential component of the restaurant kitchen but still gets treated like spoon.
A: "I spilt all this gravy on the floor and I need 500 plates washing in 10 minutes."
B: "Get the Kitchen Porter to do it."
its funny cause its partially true
though in recent months wee have been stupidly understaffed in kitchen
(2 chefs and me as KP for mon-sun work 12-9pm)
so i end up chefing half of the meals
i do all the starters and also the grill and sandwiches i can do the other stuff but meh
also the ferry to go back over is costing me £280 so im saving some wage up

Mickey Wrote:What is emergeny taxed?
basically you fill in a form to get a tax code this is usually given from your first job
then after a certain amount of time you get taxed x amount
but if you don't have that code you get emergency tax
which in my case is about 20% of my wage is taxed of me at all times until its sorted
