K-On is the greatest Post Apocalyptic AND Steam Punk anime.
The plot's so serious and engaging and you'll enjoy every moment of it's development and you'll be sad because there's no more to watch at the end.
Lot's of violence and anger. There are some light hearted and humorous events near the start otherwise not that many in the later episodes.
I recommend it to everyone!!!!!11111!!1111oneoneoneoneoneoe

I've actually seen 1/2 of that. And are you really serious about those 2 being the most likely to recommend that kind of stuff? - imo they're among the least likely.

Out of what he mentioned.. the Hokuto no Ken movies and Chobits are the only ones that come to mind. Ouran High School Host Club is good but I wouldn't recommend it over a few others and FMP is last resort.
