I think it might be obvious to some or un-obvious but I actually have a strong fasination for Lewis Carroll's books, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass. Also I'm not quite into movies.

It's coming quite close to it release, well in Australia as far as I know, the cool part is how it's release date is close to my birthday.

The only thing I know is from what I read in a news paper article that Alice is 19 now and she's returning to Wonderland.
Instead of the Queen of hearts, it's the Red Queen though the QOH's personality was pretty much the Red queen chess piece's personality in that cartoon movie disney made.

It's also being presented in the real 3d thing, I personally didn't like it in Avatar.

Gonna watch it this saturday with someone.

I liked the cartoon version of Alice and Wonderland.
Movie might be overrated because of Johnny Depp but it looks interesting enough...for me at least. Ahhyes

lol i didnt even know of "alice through the looking glass"

though i did watch that disney movie when i was a kid :D

it looks good from the posters . though i havent seen the trailers yet :/
meh it is showing now in the theaters . might watch it when/if wee get really bored

Same here, it's probably what started my interest.
The cartoon movie tries to combine both wonderland and looking glass stories into one while being more like wonderland in the end.

Speaking of the cast, there's one character I saw in a newspaper picture I'm unsure of and that's the girl with the white dress, lipstick and blonde hair.
There's only two characters who come two mind and that's the White Queen and Lilly who was the original white pawn chess piece player until Alice took her position.
