...Where you create your characters, what do you name them?
And I'm talking about ones where you choose your character's class and you have to make up their name. Not one like say, pokemon where there's default names.

For me, I usually name them after anime characters or come up with a random name on the spot.

If I'm naming in-game characters, for the characters who already have a default name, I always use that. If I have to come up with a name, then I make up some random stuff.

If whatever I'm naming is supposed to represent the player, I usually call it B!!! or SLG (don't ask, both from a 5yr old joke between me and my sister) or God.

male characters I usually do Xitherun, females I usually do Haruko. lol.

I pick names with variety. Like Hernandez and various generations of Smith. (Hero is "Smith I", sidekick is "Smith II", and so on.)

if its a free design character creation then i would call the character by my name. (which being Syfe) and like xither if i were to play a female character i would either call her Jayce or Trish pending on how i can setup the character.

if i can't customize the character i would try to create a name first.

Male Character: Betty

Female Character: Lunar

Well i don't usually play these kinds of games but that's what it would be. :P
(referring to games other than JRPG, in JRPG i usually just leave it as default.)

My FFXI character name was Sesshomaru and it was a he/mage.

Kanatan. both male and female.
games involving going to date girls and stuffs, i go for male, for all kind of other games or games that relationship arnt important, i go with female no matter what.
so the only game I've used a male by now is Persona 3 and hmmm a game i can't remember.

for online games and such i use Heartless141, the 2nd character would be Fatalist or Kanatan.
