I don't know if it has been asked before (i have looked) but what firmwire do you think a new white psp is running?
Im looking to buy one and would be less than happy if i was unable to down grade it.i know its a bit of a broad question

There is a good chance that it will have a high firmware.

Some importers advertise the fact they have 1.50 White PSPs sometimes.

my nephew has a w hite psps from japan that is non TA-082 but he won't let medowngrade it cause he is one of those twats that don't do stuff like that he bludy get s his music of itunes

my sister bought a white, non-TA-82 PSP and it came with 2.50, but that was almost a year ago :P

The Asia area usually get higher factory firmware PSPs first before the EU or US get them

Keep that in mind.
