so this morning i got eXx1l3d from kotaku for saying Edward from twilight is a meatbun and the dude from Quantum Theories look exactly like a buffed version of him.

If they care about gay people got offended by that statement so much (note, i didn't even say the dude was gay) why don't they be considerate of a Homophobic's feeling as well?

kotaku is now in my "to bash" list. I'm really disappointed with their recent's efforts anyway. chocolateload of good news in the "tips" section, and they don't even care about them. instead. they made up craps like "Offtopic" posts in attempt to mix in those "not even gaming related" posts. sooner or later, it will be another sankaku complex.

Unfortunately, I think the lack of your statement wouldn't affect a homophobe as no comment = can't be affected by it.

I don't see how calling someone a meatstick can offend gay people. I mean I am all for equality but it's like if I call my friend a chick for acting sentimental and spoon I don't see anyway it will offend a woman.

Just like how if a white dude calls a ~~black~~ AFRICAN AMERICAN dude a nigger he is called a racist yet ~~black~~ AFRICAN AMERICAN people use the term on each other all the time.

Probably because he's saying it with a negative meaning attached. By calling who's an asshole/mean/whatever a meatstick can be interpreted as indirectly implying that gay people are that, even if you didn't mean it that way.

But this whole thing is pretty stupid if you ask me.
