Just downloaded 1 episode of Bakemonogatari from CoalGirls (BDrip), and from scrolling through it, it's really not all that much better than the TV.  The TV version has more banding and more compression artifacts, but not significant enough difference for me to bother re-downloading the whole thing (especially considering they're massive).

EDIT: And wtf is otaxikus (or whatever the name is) going on about the "I got rid of the big giant fucking blocks" shit... I don't see any fucking blocks, the encode is clean.  It's 0.7 goddamn gigabytes for 25 minutes, that's NOT going have blocks.  You = blind.

You know what, Thora needs to hurry up with their ef BDrips.  It's been like a year now.
