I've been looking at the graphix section lately, and some of the stickies really don't serve much purpose anymore.  I'm considering cleaning up this section as part of the EP Graphix Revival Program.  Yes, I just made that up.  Anways, here's a couple of things I'd like to take care of in the next few weeks:

1) Graphix Teams.  I haven't seen a team battle in a long time, so the teams are essentially dead.  So, I think there are a couple of ways this can be dealt with:

*Current Team Leaders find out who is/isn't active, attempt to reorganize the three current teams (Tainted Nights, DreamArts, POD), and team battles shall recommence.

*The three current teams could be dissolved, new teams can be formed, and team battles shall commence.

*The three current teams are dissolved with no intention of forming new teams (a.k.a. the end of graphix teams)

2) Continue the New SOTW for as long as possible.  'Nuff Said.

3) Cleaning up the stickied threads.  Some stickied threads contain little information of worth, and may be unstickied.  In particular:

*The Graphics Tutorial Thread contains only a small handful of tutorials, and I am considering deleting it completely and creating a new graphics tutorials thread, which will hopefully convince some to post more tutorials.

*The Request Thread hasn't had a post in over a year, so the same idea as before may apply.

*Official PSD/Resources Thread.  Again, same idea as before.  There are some good PSD's in there which would be copied into the new thread, though :)

*Rate the sig/avatar above you thread.  Not sure if that really deserves a sticky, as it serves little purpose.

*The three Team Recruitment threads and the general graphix teams thread.  Depends on what happens concerning the teams.

*Sensei's Q&A Thread is the only one I consider completely safe.  yes, the thread's over a year old, but the information provided by Sensei is excellent :D


with all of that said, I'm completely open to suggestions.  

I agree with this :) I think that the Rate the sig/avatar above you thread should be moved to athe random forum maybe?

Also about the teams, I might think of staring a new one up again. I like change personally and wouldn't mind making a new one.

Team leaders should discuss this situation upon each other, otherwise it might never be active.

Haven't seenn Shady in a while but I would definitely like to start team battles and stuff again.

ok, some updates:

first, the graphix teams:

DreamArts: Sensei says things are still good with the team, so they may carry on with business as usual.  (remember, I can't see your team's private forum, so I don't know how active your team is.  by the way, Sensei, how many members are currently in DreamArts?)

Tainted Nights: Method/MehHakker, it's your team, so it's up to you if you want to keep it as is or restart it.

Pixel of Death: the team leader hasn't been on EP in a few months, and diego seems to be the only one left, so this team will most likely be disbanded.

next, other business:

the rate sig/avatar thread will definitely be unstickied, and may be moved to the random forum (since that's all it is anyways)

some of the other stickies that were mentioned will most likely be cleaned up/removed/replaced within the next few days.
