After using Chrome for so long, FX's UI annoy's the spoon out of me. It's so clunky, and outdated.
And I like it's speed. When I click the icon, it loads pretty much instantly, whereas FX would take a few seconds.
it does what you need, does it elegantly with maximum screenspace available. No bar at the bottom you don't need, tabs integrated into the bar with maximise, minimise and close on it. Simple, hard to make tacky theming and the best address bar ive ever used.
if you visit a site often enough, you can press tab while typing the address to search it before even starting to load the page.

I've only ever used Chrome for about 3 days (when it 1st came out), and it sort of didn't impress me that much. Maybe I'll give it another try sometime, since it's supposed to be much better now.

Fair enough.

A few seconds is an over exaggeration, not even IE takes a few seconds to load.
I generally keep my web browser open the whole time, so only really need to open it once at the start, so no big deal anyway.
EDIT: Tried it, takes about 1 second for the window to pop up, another 0.5 seconds or so until it's completely ready for use. Heh, portable Firefox from USB takes me like 5+ seconds to load.

I don't need to, i like chrome, you like ff, end of.
Just interested in people's reasons, because when I first tried Chrome back then, it didn't impress me much at all. Not trying to bash you or anything, otherwise I'll make it goddamn obvious that I am.
But if you want to fight, bring it. And if you're trying to prove your case, wouldn't it be better if you actually come up with a few reasons? This just makes you sound like a baseless Google fanboy (and fanboy = stupid, regardless of your object of fandom).

actually, it's not an exaggeration at all. FX would take me a few seconds to open, whereas Chrome is next to instant.
Tested it, and edited it into the previous post. It only takes like 1 second for me, which isn't too long. Maybe you had too many plugins, that decreases your loading speed.
