this anime is as cute as a button
besides a few things such as the main character drooling of what his grandma would of looked like she was younger  

And a creepy overly happy cross dresser,
& and dancing giant mushrooms

just finshed ep 2 and half way threw ep 3,

very funny anime
so horribly random

^__^ it is, Very much like it
with the random mix of 2d scenes to very simple drawn scenes and other things

iv spotted only a few reference/cameo's in the anime so far
Eva 01 in the the boys thoughts,
And the song plays in the fight scene in ep 3 from evangalion
"12 Spending Time in Preparation" ost 2,

and the rise from the floor entrance

Aswell as the the thing there fighting the pantie monster or what ever it is looks alot like a gunmen from ttgl

And the fact its called dai mongar seems funny :P

As does mune mune looks like an early concept of yoko from ttgl,
