Can someone explain to me what that is and or how its done? I hear about it all the time and Im like Uhh

...... and I also wonder.. if anyone can actually in depth detail explain and or help me make a game? sounds very intresting and I kinda want to give it a shot... also.. how do I change the pic that's my avatar? Im not a girl!!

im not really sure how to hex edit. i have a hex editor yea but i just do what everyone tells me to do with it lol.

tl;dr - Get a hex editor, open the file, find what you want to change, then change it.

you don't write games with a hex editor >.<

the most you do is make permanent changes...
I would use a hex editor along with a debugger and then you can replace certain program functions permanently with the hex editor and finding their locations with the debugger...

yeah... first you need a hex editor and a mission of what you are trying to do :/
are you trying to crack software? are you trying to hack a game? it depends...

well basicly I want to hack games.. so to speak and as for game making I just wondered if someone could explain/help me make one.. had nothing to do with the hex editing really... just threw it in there so I didnt have to make another post XD

Depends on what level. If your "hack" is just replacing some images, well, that's that.
What exactly do you want to do?

Im not exactly sure yet.. I mean I kinda wanted to know what it was first..lol ummm IDK.. Im thinking gran turismo...like I want to change things in it.. like cars.. maybe... make them faster at least.. so slow.. :-_-: and haha I figure your the guy I want to talk to on the subject..

as far as HEX'ing your on your own there

as for making a game, PSP ?
if so you have a long long long road ahead of you start at psp hacks there are some TuT's that should start you out
