as of right now, there is no homebrew for the 360. All you can do is play 'backups.'

You can hack it, and still use Live, but there's always a risk of getting eXx1l3d. But if you're careful, it's a very low risk.

As for videos, I'm not sure.

Is it possible to maybe download an xbox360 game, burn it to a dvd, and play it?

And isn't there an nes emulator for the 360?

there is no homebrew for the 360; the 360 has NOT been hacked, only the DVD drive's firmware has been hacked, allowing burned 360 games to played.

oh yes. There's much more you have to do, than when hacking a PSP.

Don't play games on Live before their release date; when MS is banhammer happy, stay off live.
