Just for reference.... an OVA (that would be new material) will be released with the final volume DVD/BluRay in January 2010.

Finished it.
IMO fairly nice. It's more targeted at a general audience and isn't so much a music based anime, although music is a primary theme.
Using my star scale, probably around 6-7/10 (which isn't that bad actually).
