Does animals in the zoo already violates animal rights?
Last day, i have heard over a local radio station talking about animal rights, and one of the guest is a member of PETA or "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals", which telling some do's and don'ts to animals, and one topic they discuss is about animals in the zoo's.

At my childhood, I've once went to our local zoo for our field trips, and yeah you discover and see all the animals you only see in books, but some animal rights group want it to be close because of maltreatment with animals, but i don't see it wrong, maybe, but meh, do you wish eating only vegies? sometimes our bodies need proteins coming from meats, lol

but meh i stand neutral about wars between vegetarians and meat lovers, lol

This is in fact a very common discussion I note when this topic comes up.

Eating meat is fine, but its also true that the animals in the meat shops are treated without care.... for most parts.

More to the topic, I highly disapprove of zoos. It is far too cruel to full an animal out of its natural habitat and be put into a cage. I really hope that one day, some more dominant species does this to humans..

Sweet... so maybe I keep you in a huge glass house... that should work right? I mean.. its a BIG house!

But still.. my point is based on a larger majority of zoos.

She probably mean these open zoos where the animals are left in the open, and you ride a car to see them or something (like Western Plains Zoo?).

But these zoos are rare, even in Australia, and most zoos are the traditional type (with animals in enclosed spaces). Sure the enclosed spaces might be a bit larger, but they're still enclosed spaces.
