I live in Australia.
and yeah, I read that thing about the exploding battery, but that was because that person used a generic radio shack charger.

Um... anyway today I got my external charger, but I needs the normal PSP charger to plug into the wall, I manged to get the pin out of my charger using a toothpick and the external charger works, yaaaaaayy!

if you have the appropriate tiny Philips screwdrivers, it is a very easy repair to undertake. Then you'll be able to play and charge ;)

and as with any electronics, touch a radiator before starting to remove static from you.
