RE: Lightscribe
I notice that you're shining it under a light - does it have so much contrast without the light? But it does certainly look better than the results I've gotten so far...

RE: Lightscribe
also yes my contrast is like that under light
my lightscribe discs are version 1.2 and so is my drive meaning i can burn alot better quality labels at a faster rate
lightscribe also added a utility for contrast in here new taskbar icon
also you can actually do more than 1 pass on a disc for better quality
just burn label
don't quit program
reinsert disc burn again
that's why the inner cicle has all those ridges its a marker
gonna try a 2 pass on other ozen maiden disc

That's because your drive doesn't support that speed. But if it does support that speed, it should work.
Like if I try to use my 4x drive to burn @ 16x, it just ends up burning at retarded speed.
The problem on my side is that DVDs don't store enough stuff, and BD is way too expensive.
Stack HDDs?

It does support it, just the burner gets really loud and burns really slow. Dunno why.

4.38GB is plenty for most purposes. DVDs are just for cheap write-once storage, not convenience...

TDK, DVD+R, and I've had no problems with them.
