Keep your salt grains ready, readers, as wee report what looks like a new version of iR Shell under works. This floated to our attention earlier via a youtube posted by psp1477. The video demonstrated iR Shell running on the PSP's custom firmware 3.40 OE-A:

Wee're not too sure if this was posted by Ahman, given that the dev has been out of the coding scene since last year - the last iR Shell version wee've had was coincidentally from last Christmas. For the moment, wee advise readers to keep alert in case wee pick up more information on this new development. And of course - enjoy the video!

incadudeF is stunned!!!!
Its a Shell that allows you to do alot of stuff on your PSP. Kinda like a little computer on your psp. It even extracts rar and zipped file!

i don't see why Ahman is making a newer version just for 3.40 OE-A because the latest version (v3.1), works on my PSP already :D

the source isn't credible at all.

the only version which works on 3.40OE is the 1.5 firmware kernel version.
there is also the 2.71 firmware kernel version which was designed for 2.71SE and HEN-D users it could load iso's thru nethost, mute game audio and other nifty features. it worked partially on 3.03OE-C - 3.10OE.
