i love it too but its just annoying at the amount of glitches it has.

so completed first section of the wasteland survival guide. found dogmeat :). i thought i was gonna have to kill some raiders to get him but he just wandered up to me. just finished the molerat quest in the second part, and started the self mutilation one.

do i get anything really good at the end of this quest series?

No need to restart, just go into the options screen and turn it down a bit


Nail guns are pretty easy to find, i think i got mine from a travelling trader though


And at the end of the Wasteland Survival Guide....not as far as i can remember
