RE: [Updated] EP Computer Benchmarking Powerboard
I'm guessing that's ASUS's quick starter thing. Not that useful unless you need to quickly check up a webpage when your comp's off or something like that.

Easy, overclock your CPU a bit, put that massive cooler you got to use. Should be able to pull 3.2GHz pretty easy. Currently, he has the same CPU, and slower GPU. So you should be able to beat him
Wee have the same GPU, however I just am not going to OC mine, if he plans to do so to his. Think he'd see enough of a boost to beat my score if he did?
Also, mind you, I only increased my vcore voltage to 1.25 and got to 3.5 OC. Just downed my OC to 3.4 the other day.

I thought you had the GTX285... my bad then. Se he has like the same everything as you pretty much.
I said he's be able to hit 3.2 no probs. I didn't say he'll max out at 3.2. That's only a 20% overclock, peice of cake for Core i7.

Yeah, I know what you meant. I was just saying what I put my VCore voltage at. I'm seeing people getting their 920s to 3.8+ stable, on air pretty easily actually. Now I just got to loosen my memory timings and I'll be happy :)

RE: [Updated] EP Computer Benchmarking Powerboard
Ok,. finally found out how to OC my CPU whilst i got a new CPU cooler,.
I have OCed my CPU from 2.67ghz to 3.00ghz,. with an easy on-the-fly program wich came with my motherboard,.
I did't change the volts and my PC seems to be handling the OC ok,. DUH!,. did't overclock many GHz,.. but still for 3dmark big difference for PCmark the score did't change that much.
my new Cooler,. >>
My new score's
PCmark:
3Dmark:
Hellgiver i beat yah!! ;p
EDIT: updated with CPU speed 3.2GHz

Really no need for SAS. Current SSDs can't even utilize SATA 2's bandwidth.

ZiNgA BuRgA Wrote:Also, don't leave your voltage at "Auto" if your mobo has the option - it gives far too much voltage.
Did change the volts to 1.2 but i got a Blue win crash screen so i put the volts back to "auto" and if i check the volts its auto-set to 1.25 ;p
anyway i got my new system up and running now,. bios updated and OCed.!
1 more thing,. whots best connecting case fans to motherboard or directly to PSU? does't really matter i guess,. ;p
EDIT: 3Dmark vantage,. my coreI7 920 is faster then the 965 extreme edition coreI7 >!? O_o
