Hi guys,
Since a Jear ago i have found a powerful tool named "CONFTOOL.EXE" on the Demo DVD 2004/04 which came with the offical German Playstation Magazine (OPM2).
This tool can decrypt the config file (CONFIG.DD2) of every Demo DVD which came bevor 2004/11 after that Date they change the decrypt routine.
Even my demo DVD wich came with my PS2 6-7 jears ago ive bought it has this (CONFIG.DD2) file and can be decrypted with the "CONFTOOL.EXE".
The config file is just like the "MULTI.XML" from the known Multiloader 1.41 but alot more complex.
So u can fully edit them and re encrypt them with the "CONFTOOL.EXE" to use it as verry special multiloader.
a pic how those DEMO DVDs look like.
Some reasons which makes this Multiloader so powerful.
-You are able to load ELFs in folders
-You can auto Load ELF, PSS and TXT Files by ure own specified timeout.
-You can make ure own special intro video (PSS Format)
-You can load text (.txt) files of the menue.
-You can load pss files of the menue
-You can make ure custom background video (yes u read right=) BACKGROUND VIDEO IN THE MENUE.
-You can have a Background Music stored in vag Format.
-You are able to change the color of special parts like background, selected text, uselected text.........
-High game compatibility because of the "FLASH=xxxx" option
-Seems to have HD loader compatibility (need more tests with the "FLASH=xxxx" option for that)
-PAL Multi5 support (u can make ure Menue in 5 different Languages)
And shure a lot more which i didn't found out jet.
An Example code of the decrypted config file OPM2 DEMO DVD 2004/10

The PBPX_952.05 file is the same as the \SCEE_DD\SCEE_DD.ELF i think the only reason why the SCEE_DD.ELF is there is because of the recals from the demos (at the end they want to load the Menue again) so wee don't need the SCEE_DD.ELF.
Only things wee are need for the Multiloader is the whole SCEE_DD folder, the SYSTEM.CNF and the main elf PBPX_952.05 .
The Menue of the OPM2 Magazine isn't realy beautiful but the demo dvd which came with my PS2 look awsome and u are able to edit nearly everyhing.
I have made a short preview video of my still working on Timesplitters DVD5 Trilogy. Source: YouTube
So i think they made a big mistake on the DVD 2004/04 because they forget to delete the CONFTOOL and this tool is also on the 2004/10 DVD but nowhere else, i collected that Magazine and i have all DVDs since 2003/10.
Maybe that's the reason why they had changed their encrypt system on 2004/11.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have still some things that i need help for. - There is a file in the SCEE_DD Folder called "GRAPHICS.DDP" there must be some pictures in like the x button picture wich is displayed in the menue.-----»Download GRAPHICS.DDP
EDIT from 04.02.2009:
Wee are able to Edit the "GRAPHICS.DDP" File with a Tool Called "Tile Molister" but its not the best way to modify this File. Thnak's to Tarantul 4 that
Spoiler:
Shoot 1
Codec 32(bpp) ABGR
Tiles 16x27
Mode: 2
Shoot 2
Codec 32(bpp) ABGR
Tiles 6x23
Mode: 2
- Wee need a Rebuilder 4 That file wich extrackts the Images in it and put our edited back in a valid "GRAPHICS.DDP" File.
Edit from 12.02.09:
Had made a small extractor 4 the "GRAPHICS.DDP" File through use of kitmagician. -» Download GRAPHICS.DDP extractor - wee need some advice on how to convert/reconvert those extracted images.
- There is a File called FRAMES.IPU this is the background video wich is displayed in the Multiloaders home Menue.
EDIT:
Wee are able to build our own IPU background video file. Thank's to Komawoyo 4 that.
Spoiler:
If u think u can help me in any of these Points, please reply to tis Thread ore send me a PM Thank's ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When everything is done and i understand everything, i will make a tutorial for all. Here u all have a Pre release , it contains all the needed files 4 the Multiloader. Ultimate_$ony_Multiloader Pre release

@Zinga Burga
Got some problems on opening the extracted images without any extension in photoshop, like (arrow1).
Had changed it to arrow1.raw but when i open it with Photoshop CS2 i have only option 8 and 16 bit (and channel) so i opened them with 8bit and 4 channel to get a fake 32bit but that's not the best deal i think.
Also seems that the (circle, cross, l1, l2, l3, lstick, r1, r2, r3, rstick, select, smcross, smtriangle, square, start, startsel, triangle) wich i told aren't displayed correct seems to be at 24bit pictures in BMP format without headder.
Converted circle to BMP and got the same filesize 12kb.
But the raw picture has a structure of BGR and every time i open the raw picture, photoshop shows it in RGB and i don't know how to change/save it as BGR picture.

You'll rarely ever get 16bit channels. Otherwise, you're really going to have to experiment unfortunately.
Photoshop should have a colour channel swapping function (probably need to check the channels window). I know IrfanView has it...

Hi
I don't use the 16 bit with 2 channel to display the 32 bit raw pictures.
I used 8 bit with 4 channel (CMYK) cause when i use 16 bit with 2 channel the whole picture went black and white and in the channel window it shows me just 2 alpha channels.
Only problem with 8 bit 4 channel is, the color pictures like helpbar is a bit too dark, disabling the black channel makes it better cause the multiloader makes the black pixels unvisible, just like the pictures in the RCO's from PSP.
Example:
As u can see the picture looks a lot more brighter in the emulator.
Had searched alot in photoshop 4 the channel switching but can not find.
With irfranview it works from RGB-»BGR but only with already converted pictures by photoshop.
Not able to open the RAW pictures in irfranview.
Any further help would be great.

Sure CYMK is correct? Typically that colourspace is only used for printing, not screen displays.
I can't seem to see the arrow in the other pictures however...
I am shure CYMK is not correct because i view the helpbar picture in TileMolister with codec 32 bpp ABGR (8888) and this looks a lot better than CYMK.
However, could be that the loader is able to understand CYMK, don't know.
But the real problem is i can not seem to discover the Format to build my own picture and test it.
The arrows are displayed in the home menue when u select each game.
Look on the video from a friend here, u can see the arrows flowing when selecting a game. Source: YouTube
And thank's again for your help, wee realy need it.
You will be mentioned in the Final credits text 4 your help on the graphic files.
