My 60gb, that I got the day after they were released, died the summer after I got it.
It stopped playing PS2 games, so I lost 88 hours worth of Final Fantasy X and XII play.

Plus it took Sony about a month to replace it. :/

ouch that sucks... sorry to hear your machine fudged up... at least you couls play hdd games which probably means a bad disc drive.. looking forward to playing more burnout wwith ya.. was fun and i need trophies LOL...
