Oh so i found out how to LEGALLY upload gameboots in your themes.

Apparently you have to be a blogger and upload it to dl.qj.net AND PUT IN THE NOTES that a new gameboot has been added to the theme!!

Not sure how that theme made front page and something more better like Oblivion Coding didnt seeing as how moon and black theme just recolored a few original icons and spaced all other icons off the screen....
And then the article says the theme comes with a custom gameboot   :rtfm:   double you tee eff!?!?

I always gave the mods there a hard time on that one.(under a super secret username). lolz.

How stupid is it that the forums don't allow gameboots, but the frontpage does?

Give me a fudgeing break.

Zinga's Guide on How to Get PMFs on QJ Forums legally
  • Rename your PMF to .pmf.txt and include with the package
If the above does not work:
  • Open the PMF file in a hex editor and remove the first four bytes ("PSMF").  Save this file as ".bmp" or something.  This file is no longer a valid PMF file, as it does not have it's file signature anymore.
  • Open Notepad and copy in the following (haven't strictly tested, so unsure if syntax is exactly correct):

    echo PSMF>gameboot.pmf

    Save the file as install.bat, and ask people to run this file if they want the gameboot

but then one would be eXx1l3d for bypassing the filters LOL

Ive never done a gameboot so it doesn't bother me, its just the hipocracy that regular users must follow these rules, while their staff doesn't have to.

anyhoo...qj is definitely going to die dead in the psp theme division
