The ending is VERYYYY confusing. :C
It really doesn't show an opening for a continuation. But at the same time. It does...

^^you talking about the new manga???
i didnt read the DN manga but i heard the edn is different.. the end for the anime was meh for me... freakin matsuda!!!  and good old ryuk making good on his promise because of that

Meh. Maybe the new manga can redeem the failure of the previous manga's
ending. Personally death note was the most epic anime I've ever seen until
the time leap after

L's death, everything past L's death was poo poo, imo, they should have just had one or two episodes
to finish off the series, where Kira is basically ruling the world, becoming all evil, etc. And just at the height of
his power, Ryuk kills him, because he's bored or something. Meh. That's what I expected, but what i got was
some lame replacement for L. Pfft.

Finally finished Death Note.  I think it started really good, but did degrade later on.  I think many of the things later on were questionable as well.  I think it should've been split into two series though - I really found it to be two stories packed into one.

But I liked it overall :)

yeah... it kind of did that... didn't it.

anyways the 13th issue of Deathnote is just a character information book. (aslo there is another Deathnote story in the back of the book)
