WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

* Ge64 is back from seeing Carlos Santana and co in Asiaworld Expo :D

I hadn't been to a concert in years until my dad took us all to go see one of his favorites, Santana, for his birthday.

It was AWESOME! Some of my friends were there too, a lot of my parent's friends were there, there was beer, there was awrrrsum music and it was just fucking great! All my favorites were played: Maria Maria, Smooth, all these other songs I know and stuff, and at the very end (I was secretly hoping for it all along, it was the second encore) they played an extra long version of Into the night, his new song with nickelback singer Chad Kroeger (or whatever) (he wasn't there to sing himself but the other vocalists did a good job).

The atmosphere was amazing, ppl cheering and jumping and waving and stuff without any encouraging from the band, santana was flawless and awesome. There was this amazing bass solo and a connecting drum solo, I hope that appears on Youtube or a DVD at some point. I've always loved Santana, and having played a bit of guitar I can respect the difficulty of his work a lot as well. He continues to make awesome new songs with popular singers and stuff and it just rocks.

Hong Kong was his last stop on the Live your Light tour. Anyone else gone to one of their concerts?

Santana is fantastic, the Supernatural DVD is wicked to watch and yea, hes an amazing guitarist, does what he does best.
