opening_plugin.rco help
I've been having issues with this before, and it's still unresolved.  Whenever I try adding an full screen image to replace the sony logo during the coldboot, my psp either gets a semi-brick and won't start up, or it'll start up, but the picture will be completely white.  I have tried using RCO Editor to replace the image and using cold boot tools to create an rco, but both methods have failed me.  If anyone could tell me or help me fix my opening_plugin, that would be great.  Thanks in advance.

The following 2 files I uploaded are:
1. The picture I want
2. The opening_plugin.rco I want to modify

If you are willing to create a different opening_plugin.rco, that would be fine as well, I can just make the changes to it later, but I really want to get this thing to work.  Thanks again.

RE: opening_plugin.rco help
You will need:  rcoeditor v1.14b

RCO Editor notes:
logo valus: @ 0xA04 stretch values W: 1.666667 & H: 1.666667 , Dimensions? W: 480 H: 272

My Glow Values are the same,

In PhotoShop
make new picture 288x168 RGB

then in Channels tab hit the "create new channel" you now have a alpha channel, paint it white.

Now go back to RGB channel and to the layers tab.

Now copy your picture into the RGB channel.

Now go to image>>mode>>index color...

and set to "local Perceptual"
and set the color count to 254
forced : none
no transparency
Dither set to patern (if you like that. else leave on none. just look whot you find best when slecting you see change in picture)

Now got to image>>mode>>RGB color

and now save as a 32bit bmp and load the picture into rcoeditor v.114 into your opening_plugin.rco

thanks to V1 for tutorial

RE: opening_plugin.rco help
I used RCO Editor 1.15c at first, didn't work.  Tried it again with 1.14b.  Still didn't work.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong since I followed the steps exactly.

Edit:
If it helps, attached is the PSD and the bmp.

Edit 2:
Also attached the final rco that I made that gives me the white box, yet again.

RE: opening_plugin.rco help
matchung, I already reduced it.

v1, dummying the other images worked.  Also wondering, in your themes, you got rid of the startup wave; would you mind telling me how you did that as well?

Thanks for helping, guys!
