$RECYCLE.BIN
just recently going into My Computer, i noticed there is a new folder called $RECYCLE.BIN in both my C and D drive. obviously it has to do with the Recycle Bin, but i already have the folder "RECYCLER". so does anyone know why has this "$RECYCLE.BIN" suddenly appeared when i also have the "RECYCLER" aswell?

RE: $RECYCLE.BIN
"RECYCLER" should be there, and it should be hidden.

What's in the $RECYCLE.BIN folder?  If it looks like nothing important, I would just rename it to something else.  If your computer doesn't have any problems after a while, just delete it.

I'll try this, in the each of the folders (one in each drive) there is only another folder that is empty and is called "S-1-5-18"

RE: $RECYCLE.BIN
Probably because you have both XP and Vista on the machine. Do you?

If that's the case then just leave it alone, since they'll just keep coming back anyways.
