playing avi files on ps2 with conversion???
i want to play avi files from my ps2

all i know is that its fat and plays copies fine

i also want to play them from usb also if that's available

please help

u need sms media player, find it here- http://home.casema.nl/eugene_plotnikov/
....but be warned the ps2 doesn't handle processing media very well. when i tried i found it to be unwatchable after awhile, lagging skipping etc....

a modded xbox with xbmc is an amazing thing if u want to watch media on yer tv, it supports pretty much all codecs and formats and plays them back no problem. its great with anime to if it has duel audio or subs...it very easy to choose what u want
