Gunslinger Girl
I'm currently watching it - nearing the end.

Who else has seen it?  What do you think?

My current thoughts:
Interesting idea - in fact, I wouldn't be too surprised if some of the stuff there isn't actually real.  One thing I don't think they explain enough is why they have to use little girls as assassins though (I can understand the child part, but why not boys?).

Apart from that, it's an interesting drama, with a bit of action mixed in, which doesn't seem too fake.  Also, the action part of the anime, seems more realistic than those shows where the hero manages to always dodge the bullets (at least they get hit here).

More interesting? They just so happen to be girls?

I am planning on watching this one, anyway, but be incredible if it had a spell of positivity from you, Zinga

On the other hand, if there's an anime which doesn't have all positive comments from you...

...
it's japanese and it's aimed at guys....
pedos? :/

I've already watched it and personally found it quite boring. the intoduction episodes of every character were quite interesting though...
i wished it would have gone deeper into the morality aspects later on.

RE: Gunsligner Girl
maybe the creators figured that one day the Assassin girls would grow up, date a guy, make love to him and eventually give birth to a Assassin baby (?)...

or probably that those who'd die would be happier to see a cute faced girl kill them rather than a girl faced guy?

Obviously >_>
But they should at least try to explain things...

Yeah, somewhat boring I guess, but not that bad though.  Haven't seen too much discussion on the morality.

RE: Gunsligner Girl
I've got the manga of it, just not the anime. Only Sparker has read it though.

EDIT: Oh By the way, I fixed the typo in the topic.

RE: Gunslinger Girl
Finished it.  Considering that there wasn't really an overall story, it's not too bad an ending.

I say decent overall - not the most exciting, but has its things.
