Batch Encode tv series
Got 56gb of power rangers low tv rips. I want to lower the file size but need a nice fast batch script because doing it is slow and finicky getting right settings.

Average file info for all episodes

RE: Batch Encode tv series
Increase the quantizer till you start getting sizes you want, then you can decide if it's worth it based on the end product quality.

RE: Batch Encode tv series
It's 175MB an episode, and it's real footage (not anime), with action and explosions and shit, I think the size is pretty modest already.

H.264 is more efficient than Xvid so you can probably save like 50MB or something without really effecting the quality, but are you going to spend like forever (have to use slow setting if you want to push the quality/size ratio) encoding 55GB worth of 175MB episodes just to save some space?
