The job is with Sony's Santa Monica studio, which is responsible for developing all three previous God of War console titles. Since the portable God of War installments have been developed by Ready At Dawn Studios, Sony Santa Monica's involvement could mean that the in-development title is God of War IV.

"Join the GOW team," the listing reads. "The Santa Monica Studio is an open and creative environment, where wee strive to make the best games in the industry. Join us as wee embark on our next project."

According to rumours featured in the pages of the Official PlayStation Magazine and respected unofficial PlayStation mag PSM3 earlier this year, God of War 4 is in development, is set to feature a multiplayer mode, and will launch in September 2012.

Maybe this is just like GOW Ghost of Sparta on PSP.

I recently watched some big hour long video with all the directors of the God of War games, you can dl it from the PSN. According to them there is no plan for a fourth game. So this is interesting news.
