Localizer ™ is an application involved in the PSP Genesis Competition and developed by Draan, which allows you to change all text displayed in the XMB . Simply indispensable tool for people whose first language is not supported by the PSP, or for those wishing to customize their XMB.

To change the different messages that wee can display the XMB , it will carry a text file (provided in the archive), and then replace the different messages about what wee want to see.

However, things are not so simple as they seemed. Indeed, there are over 5000 messages to translate! The file lists all the proposed, but these are sorted by category and it is not always easy to find the right line.

Quote:Installation

- Download Localizer v2 ;
- Connect your PSP to the computer via USB;
- Pass your PSP in "USB mode" with the option "USB Connection";
- Right-click on the file you downloaded;
- Choose "Extract Files ..."( WinRAR is recommended);
- Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer;
- Press OK and wait extraction files;
- Open (or go here if this is the first plugin that you install) the file VSH.txt and enter the - -- following line:
ms0: / seplugins / localizer.prx 1
- Quit the "USB mode" on your PSP ;
- Restart your PSP.

Change the XMB text

- Download the application Paxor and file strings.txt .
- Open the text file and edit what you want;
- Caution, do not change the special characters;
- Once your changes are complete, save your work;
- Start Paxor.exe;
- Some lines appear.



- Press any key on the keyboard;
- You will notice the presence of a file named localizer.dat . Copy it;
- Go to the folder seplugins and paste the file;
- Quit the "USB mode" on your PSP ;
- Restart the console.
