Chaning Deafult Folder Views..
Vista keeps changing my folder views..
how do i set it so that all folders are in "list" view and sorted by "type".

Try this: Control Panel » Folder Options » View » untick "Remember each folder's view settings", then click the button near the top, "Reset All Folders", click OK.
Go to a folder, and change the view to "list" and sort it by "type", then go back into Folder Options » View » "Apply to All Folders"
Alternatively, use Directory Opus instead of explorer :P

edit: "Apply to all Folders" stays unselectable,. not that its needed,. i guess,.>!?!>?
