Lol, yeah i know what you mean

but personally i never have talked to someone who was japanese (actually once, but at the time i didn't know much about the different peoples of the east; so i accidentally said "hows the food in china?" and he ignored me after that xD; but there were two asain girls (japanese?) who he talked to so i just let him be and talked to the guy on my right who, fortunately was Chinese xD)

But heck, just because i watch anime from time to time (actually havent watched any for two months :P) doesn't mean i need to adore Japanese people :P
