Huh.
IT automatically adds the files YOU WATCHED.
Why the heck would it add random files you've never heard of O_o
It doesn't do that though.. does it..
It uses a rule system in File Detection and more specifically the user has to mark whether he/she has watched that file.
AniDB is a lot more specific compared to A-P... I prefer the latter because it IS less specific.. but AOM is excellent, like I said before, to manage the files I've seen.

RE: Anime Planet
ahhh...
I see, that makes much more sense...
I've never been watching so many anime that I can't even stop by the website to check them off...
I will always keep the browser up while I am doing stuff and if you are watching that many anime how can you even figure out which is which and enjoy them?

RE: Anime Planet
I never used AniDB.. may check it out. Not that it matters. I hardly update what I've watched, anyways..

Well you just set in the options a folder that is your "watched" folder. Then from there on, anything you drag into that folder is "watched" when you run it.
Like I said, Anime-Planet is good for, simplicity, and less volume. Nothing wrong with it.
I used the online sites in the order:
AniDB (hated it, when everything was manual) > My Anime List (too simple) > Anime Planet (nice) > AniDB with Anidb-o-matic (freaking love it)
AniDB O'Matic is a windows client for AniDB.net.
The main purpose of the program is to ease mylist handling and assist in file renaming.
