my uncle got engaged a while back and last weekend was his stag do. wee went up to norrth wales and stayed at a friend's holiday house. Saturday wee went mountain biking, where wee almost killed one of our group. he spends most of his life working in an office, programming bank software, and so wasn't used to what mother nature could throw at him. Sunday wee went canyoning, and got very wet, very cold, and very tired. the finale was a 150ft zip wire from the top of a waterfall into a lake. you jump off the cliff, clipped to the zip wire. but, the wire stretches, so you just drop for a few seconds, watching the rocks get closer and closer, then BANG. you fly off forwards and into the water. in the nights wee would all get seriously pissed from cases and cases of booze-cruise imported kronenbourg and stella artois (probably only uk peeps will understand that bit) (for everyone else, linky), and get very fat on cheap pork rind and biscuits.

all in all a lot of fun. apart from the hangovers...
