maybe a virus? ... theres quit a few worms you get from flash drives these days that hide your system n hidden files and mess with your registry so that you can't possibly see them.

*iDK IF the attachment will work for vista though

I think I know your problem :D

if you have system restore on, it sets an amount of your HDD to be saved on just for safety, go search if you have it on, and look at the settings on how much % of the HDD it is  set to take up.



I removed this option from my vlited vista because I need all the space I can get on my 80gb HDD

I concur with Diego on this.  Either that or Vista reports your swap file differently.
