Ok so the problem is The Walking Dead Game. I played the first 2 for free because i was a plus member. Love the story. My plus ran out. I lack funds to reup it. But i had $5 to buy Episode 3. Mind you my plus ran out BUT the free games still played as it had no expiration date i could find. All other plus games were unplayable except WD. My ps3 will let me play episode. 2 won't work and neither will 3 which i payed for.  wonder if i can email tell tale. sony won't care but i don't know much about TTG.

Uwaaa sounds like someone messed up >.< I had a similar issue with Supersonic Acrobatic Rocketpowered Battlecars I think (yeah I know the title... xD) and I might be stating the obvious but have you tried to delete all traces of Episode 3 and then redownloading it from the store? For some reason the PS3 seems to be very bad with account certifications that change on the fly soo once you start off fresh it usually gets the right permissions^^

^^ i thought about that. but i read that you have to own the first episode to play the rest. like just owning ep3 does no good and the file for ep1 isn't in my DL list anymore since my plus is gone. probably just out $5 for now but its only $5. Messed up thing is Ep1 is still on my system and still plays! that the only reason i bought ep3!

Ugh okay if that's really the case that's some really bad programming on Sony's and / or Tell Tale >.< I hope you you manage to solve it somehow without spending additional money

yeah they still havent gotten back to me yet. i really don't think they will help but worth a try. only thing i know to do is try my wifes + account since it hasn't run out and see if DLing it from hers will work. it used to so ill see.

bad coding indeed. all i did was erase the game files. logged into my wifes active plus account and downloaded the file for ep1 then back to our mutual account to get ep3 and it worked like a charm.  what i think is the permissions got messed up when my plus expired and i just needed a clean ep1 file.    that really is some bad coding and stupid idea to not have each episode a stand alone game where it loads a cleared save to keep your choices
