wow that's one awesome laser.. can anyone tell me what laser stands for (no googling)

I got a fluorescence kit in the mail today with dyes and powders that are responsive to laser light in certain wavelengths. Check them out:

I thought it was Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation?

yeah i think your right sparker... the E was always a little hazy for me since finishing physics A-level
