RE: The PSP Hold Button
I get the opposite problem.
Since my PSP is so old the hold switch has gotten kinda loose.
So now it accidentally goes to hold even from a small nudge.

Theres a very easy way to fix this. just take out the XO/\[] board, and on the back use some wire cutters to cut through the very bottom connection that connects the power switch to the PSP. Make sure the two points don't make contact and you'll never have that problem again.. of course then you won't be able to use hold at all, but I don't really see that as a problem. If you wanted you can always just cut both connections of the hold button, and redirect it to another place on your psp with wire and a new switch.

RE: The PSP Hold Button
heh. darn. i did it again yesterday
i so hate having to take care when flicking off a hold button, usually when i forget its on hold im pissed off enough its even on. then when i turn hold off and it powers down i just want to throw it out the window or into a monitor or something, fudge.

RE: The PSP Hold Button
yeah i put my psp in my pocket too (even with the playgear pocket case) and i use hold because its easy to switch songs with the shoulder button by accident, and if im enoying a song and it switches i get really pissed :P

RE: The PSP Hold Button
So true. Ive got mega size baggy pants though so it usually fits in any pocket, but when i sit down i put it down somewhere. The routine of putting it in my pocket and taking it out when i sit down caused me to stop forgetting it. I lose my wallet more often..
