Well, if ur psp is on official 6.38 firmware, then the only way rite now is to use the pandora battery/magic memorystick method:) (BUT U have to check if ur hackable, as in that its motherboard is ta-088v2 or less)
First download PSPident 0.74 to check for the model of ur psp's motherboard from here:-
http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/attachm...p?aid=5034
AND run it on ur psp and make sure ur psp mobo is ta-088v2 or less.
Second (if it is ta-088v2 or less then) get a cheap pandora battery from here(or make one but it requires a spare one):-
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/psp-unbrick...3-6v-12472
(Its only $4.99, with world-wide shipping)
[OR Watch this tutorial to make ur own pandora battery:

Third get a cheep magic memorystick form here (or make one but it requires a MARK2, 4GB or less memorystick):-
http://www.pandorabatteryuniverse.com/me...-p-51.html
[OR Watch this tutorial to make ur own magic memorystick:

Fourth then insert ur magic memorystick into the psp, and then ur new pandora battery (but hold the L trigger when inserting the pandora battery).
Fifth install M33 firmware and let it finish (the remove the pandora battery and magic memory stick and put ur old stuff back).
LAST download this 6.38 ME frome here, and and the original 6.38 EBOOT.PBP frome here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/2080 (extract it and rename it to "638.PBP", then put it in the UPDATE folder from the ME download. Put the UPDATE folder in ms0://PSP/GAME/ (where ms0 is ur psp memory stick)
[Install and enjoy:]
