RE: Wireless Adapter Uninstalling Itself
That's weird. What OS are you using? If you go under Network Connections, and rightclick on your wireless connection, and choose properties, does it show anything at the top, where it says "Connect using"?
On W7, it is Network and Internet » Network and Sharing Center » "Change Adapter Settings" on the left. Does it redetect if you reboot? If it does, can you check if you have the latest drivers installed?

Yeah it's Windows 7, and no it doesn't show up at all under Adapter Settings. This happened yesterday and after rebooting a few times it showed up again. Then today when I turned my computer on it just disappeared and after over 9000 reboots it's not showing up.

It can't be a virus, I just reinstalled 7 like a week ago.

Not trying to be funny, but is there are hard/LED switch which would "disable" the adapter?
Was the laptop dropped recently?

There is a button for that but it doesn't turn it back on.
No I didn't drop it.
The only thing I can think of is that my fried opened up the bottom and cleaned out the fan, but he didn't touch anything close to the wireless adapter.
